DigitalDivide.Info
It will be a comprehensive online platform designed to complement and support my dissertation for a PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis on Learning and Technology at Grand Canyon University.
The platform will explore the critical factors contributing to the digital divide, focusing on identifying barriers, examining potential solutions, and evaluating how these solutions can effectively bridge the divide in the context of education.
Problem Statement: It is not known which model best defines the primary factors that shape the digital divide, the barriers contributing to it, the solutions aimed at closing the gap, and how these solutions can specifically impact education.
Purpose of the Study: The purpose of this qualitative grounded theory study is to develop a model that identifies the key factors defining the digital divide, analyzes the barriers responsible for its persistence, and explores solutions that can address these challenges to enhance digital inclusion in education across the United States.
Through DigitalDivide.Info, I aim to provide a centralized hub where research, insights, and findings related to my study are accessible, fostering a deeper understanding of the digital divide and potential pathways toward educational access and achievement.
